It is an incident where confidential, sensitive information is copied, transmitted, stolen by an individual not authorised to do so.
It can be considered to be a huge cyber crime for business companies as well as law firm where confidentiality and sensitive information is at the heart of the business, therefore data breaches can be a higher risk for law firms.     

RANSOMWARE

It is a type of malicious software that limits users from accessing their system, until a sum of money is paid. It can be damaging for law firms, because clear the device from a ransomware can be expensive and time consuming. Accessing to the system for employee will not be easy and paying the sum not always guarantees access to the data.

• Do not open emails from unknown senders
