A guide on handling childcare arrangements after a divorce

By Sana Iqbal

A Child Arrangements Order decides where your child will live, when your child spends time with each parent, and when and what other types of contact take place. The child’s mother, father, or anyone with parental responsibility can apply for a court order. This costs £255 and you must usually attend a mediation meeting called mediation information and assessment meeting (MIAM) beforehand.
